Odell Beckham Jr. was on the field Tuesday morning in suburban Cleveland as the Browns began voluntary organized team activities.

The Browns wide receiver, acquired this offseason from the Giants, made a cameo appearance Monday on Antonio Callaway’s live Instagram story in the locker room of the team's facility in Berea, Ohio and was on the field for Tuesday's 10:30 a.m. ET workout.

It remains unknown how many of the 10 OTAs Beckham will attend, though last year with the Giants he was present for Pat Shurmur’s extra voluntary minicamp and about seven of the 10 voluntary OTAs.

While Beckham had yet to participate in the team's offseason program this year, Browns coach Freddie Kitchens downplayed the significance of his absence until this point.

"There’s no problem with Odell not being here," Kitchens said last month. "I’d rather him be here. He’s not here. It’s voluntary. That’s what the word voluntary means. He can decide to come or he can’t.

"But under no circumstance am I going to say that I’m pissed off at Odell for not being here. He’ll be ready to play and ultimately that’s the only thing I want, for him to be ready to play when we start kicking off in September and he will be — I promise you."

Beckham, 26, spent the first five seasons of his career with the Giants after they selected him 12th overall in the 2014 draft. He was then dealt to the Browns in March in return for Jabrill Peppers, a first-round pick and a third-round pick in this year's draft.

The three-time Pro Bowl selection compiled 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns in 59 games with New York.
