Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. fired shots at Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams while speaking to reporters Thursday, saying he coaches "dirty plays and cheap shots."
Beckham claimed current Browns players told him of the crude tactics when Williams served as defensive coordinator in Cleveland from 2017-18, adding that Williams instructed his players to take Beckham out during a preseason matchup in 2017.
Beckham ended up hurting his ankle in that game on a hit by Briean Boddy-Calhoun and later broke the same one in Week 5 of the regular season, which led the All-Pro to assert Williams is responsible for causing the ankle injury that "changed my life forever."

Beckham required surgery on his ankle and ended up missing the final 12 games of the 2017 season before bouncing back in 2018.
Williams has yet to respond to Beckham's remarks, but is scheduled to address the media Friday.
Beckham and Williams will face off when the Jets play the Browns on Monday.
