How much of a factor was that Monday trip to Miami the Giants receivers took six days before a playoff game at Lambeau Field?
The Giants say not much after the Packers shook off a slow start to completely outplay New York in a 38-13 victory in the opening round of the NFC playoffs.
"I didn't see the game going this way," said Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was one of several players to take a day trip to Miami to party on a yacht with pop singers Trey Songz and Justin Bieber.
"I went through practice and had zero drops. Zero missed assignments," Beckham added when asked about the boat trip. "There is nothing to connect something from (six) days ago to today and how we came out to play and executed. It did a great job to create distractions for us. It's unfortunate, but that's just how the world is.
IYER: No, Odell, we can't sink questions about the boat
"The connection is just not there."
Beckham caught just four passes for 28 yards despite being targeted 11 times. The flamboyant receiver accounted for three drops, but he wasn't the only who had trouble hauling in passes from Eli Manning, who finished 23 of 44 for 299 yards with a touchdown and two late turnovers.

"There were a lot of opportunities for us to have the game go the other way," Beckham said. "It sucks. There's no way to put it. It sucks. It's a horrible feeling."

The only touchdown scored by a Giants receiver was by Tavarres King, who did not join his teammates for the Miami boat trip. The second-year receiver from Georgia had just two catches for 50 yards all season, but caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown on six targets at Lambeau Field.
Victor Cruz, who had three catches for 30 yards on four targets, would not answer questions about the trip to Miami.

Giants coach Ben McAdoo said his players were "dialed in" and that the boat trip "didn't have anything to do with the ball game."
"We didn't handle the ball well enough to win against a good team," McAdoo said. "I hope everyone in the locker room remembers what it feels like to lose a game like this when we get back to work."
