Nihar Janga threw up the "X"  at this year's Spelling Bee and that caught the attention of Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant.

The two must have hit it off because the 11-year-old received an invite to the Cowboys' camp Wednesday. He got to tour the facilities, meet players and even sat in on coach Jason Garrett's press conference.

Janga was there as a guest sports reporter, but it seemed like Garrett wanted to put him to work on the football field. He made an arrangement with him to defend his favorite player — Bryant.

Garrett also made Janga spell "gesellschaft," which the co-champ did accurately, stunning the coach.

"How in God's name do you know this word?" Garrett asked.

Getting to attend the Cowboys' camp sure is a nice bonus to being a co-champ of the Spelling Bee.
