The NFLPA said it would contact the NFL after Titans cornerback Logan Ryan complained that a Browns fan dumped beer on him in Sunday's 43-13 win.
Ryan and several other teammates were celebrating Malcolm Butler's pick-six from Baker Mayfield when a fan wearing Mayfield's jersey sprayed them with beer.
Ryan took to Twitter on Monday to complain about the incident, prompting the NFLPA to step in.
They can pour beer on us because we’re just athletes right? We’re just entertainment & since they purchased a ticket they can act how they want? 👀 @NFL @NFLPA @Browns @Titans https://t.co/fpCfEOhC1V

Thanks for flagging this with us Logan. We’ve gone ahead and contacted league security to address the matter. Please send us a DM if you have any further questions/concerns.

Ryan also addressed the incident Monday on SiriusXM NFL Radio where he called the situation "ridiculous."
"Yeah, you know, in this day and age it's ridiculous," he said in the interview (via Titans Online). "I understand that we play football. I understand that we're modern-day gladiators. I understand that fans feel like they can yell and say and degrade, whatever, but you know, we're human beings.
"And I think in society nowadays that's, with everything going on and everybody deserving their rights, I think as a player to hop up over the rail and to have beer splashed in your face and you're not allowed to respond. Fans are allowed to throw beer in our face and yell whatever they want to yell at us and there's no penalty?"
Titans coach Mike Vrabel took a slightly more humorous stance on the incident, saying the fan was silly for wasting beer.

"I would tell them not to waste beer," Vrabel said. "That's a bad thing to do."
A similar instance occurred last season, when a Patriots fan threw beer on Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill. The fan was charged with disorderly conduct and the Patriots banned that person from Gillette Stadium.
