NFL trade rumors: Browns cornerbacks being dangled as bait image

If they can, the Cleveland Browns want to trade one or both of their starting cornerbacks.

After acquiring Jamie Collins from the Patriots on Monday, the winless Browns hope to get some draft picks in return for either Joe Haden or Tramon Williams, according to NFL.com, before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline at 4 p.m. ET.

Cleveland likely would get a decent value for Haden, who is signed through 2019. The 27-year-old has 18 career interceptions and is in his seventh NFL season.

Williams, 33, is set to make $5.7 million next season, so the Browns would likely cut him, anyway. Anything they get for him would be a bonus.

There are a host of contenders in need of a cornerback, so there's a chance Cleveland finds a suitor before time runs out.
