NFL SCORES — WEEK 7

Indianapolis Colts 39, Denver Broncos 33

Recap | Stats | Video

Andrew Luck threw for three touchdowns and ran for another Sunday night, outplaying predecessor Peyton Manning in a 39-33 victory over the previously unbeaten Denver Broncos. The victory ended the Broncos' 17-game regular-season winning streak in the first game Manning played against his former team since being released in March 2012. Manning finished 29 of 49 for 386 yards with three TDs and one interception. He was sacked four times and tried desperately to rally the Broncos (6-1) late.

Kansas City Chiefs 17,  Houston Texans 16

Recap | Stats | Video

Jamaal Charles ran for 86 yards and a touchdown, Alex Smith also ran for a score and the Chiefs beat the Texans to remain unbeaten. Case Keenum, making his first NFL start in place of the injured Matt Schaub, threw for 271 yards and a touchdown. The loss was especially tough for the Texans, as Arian Foster and Brian Cushing left with injuries.

San Francisco 49ers 31, Tennessee Titans 17

Recap | Stats | Video

The 49ers know how to start a very long road trip in winning style. Colin Kaepernick threw for 199 yards and ran for 68 and a touchdown, helping the 49ers start a two-game road swing. The 49ers won their fourth straight before heading to London for a game with winless Jacksonville.

Green Bay Packers 31, Cleveland Browns 13

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Aaron Rodgers shuffled around the field to make plays. He jokingly needled a young receiver about his first Lambeau leap. And perhaps even most importantly, he was one of the calming influences this week on a Packers team beset with injuries. Rodgers threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns, Eddie Lacy ran for another score, and the defense came up clutch in a grinding, 31-13 win Sunday over the Cleveland Browns.

Pittsburgh Steelers 19,  Baltimore Ravens 16

Recap | Stats | Video

Shaun Suisham remains perfect. Now, his imperfect team is showing signs of pulling out of its massive early season hole. He drilled a 42-yard field goal with no time remaining to lift the Steelers. Suisham's fourth field goal of the day pushed the Steelers to their second straight win after an 0-4 start

Dallas Cowboys 17, Philadelphia Eagles 3

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Tony Romo threw for 317 yards and one touchdown and the Cowboys overcame a sluggish start to beat the Eagles and take sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

Atlanta Falcons 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Matt Ryan threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns, including two to Jacquizz Rodgers, and the Falcons held off the Buccaneers to end their three-game losing streak. Harry Douglas had seven receptions for a career-best 149 yards.

Washington Redskins 45,  Chicago Bears 41

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Roy Helu scored his third touchdown of the game with 45 seconds to play, a 3-yard run that gave the Redskins a win over the Bears. Helu had scoring runs of 14, 3 and 3 yards, and rookie tight end Jordan Reed caught nine passes for 134 yards and one touchdown. Josh McCown entered the game in the second quarter after Jay Cutler left with a groin injury. And even in a loss, never forget: Don't kick the ball to Devin Hester.

New York Jets 30, New England Patriots 27 (OT)

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Nick Folk kicked a 42-yard field goal with 5:07 left in overtime to lift the Jets over the Patriots. Folk got a second chance after he missed a 56-yarder moments earlier. But Chris Jones was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for pushing a teammate forward to try to block the kick, a new NFL rule.

STEELE: Patriots blow it in final moments

Buffalo Bills 23, Miami Dolphins 21

Recap  | Stats  | Video highlights

Mario Williams forced a fumble when he sacked Ryan Tannehill with less than three minutes left, setting up the winning field goal to help the Bills beat the Dolphins. Kicker Dan Carpenter, released in August after five seasons with the Dolphins, beat his former team by making a 31-yarder with 33 seconds to go.  Brandon Gibson's soaring touchdown  ultimately was not enough for Miami.

Carolina Panthers 30, St. Louis Rams 15

Recap | Stats

Cam Newton is thriving and Sam Bradford is hurting. Newton completed 15 of 17 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown and the Panthers defeated Bradford and the Rams in a heated game Sunday. In the past two games, Newton is 35 of 43 for 464 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Cincinnati Bengals 27, Detroit Lions 24

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Mike Nugent's 54-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Bengals over the Lions. The AFC North-leading Bengals (5-2) won a game for the second straight week by the same score thanks to Nugent's right foot. The Lions looked like they did enough to send the game to OT, but rookie Sam Martin shanked a punt just 28 yards to midfield in the final minute. Not even this ridiculous catch by Calvin Johnson could put the Lions of the top.

San Diego Chargers 24, Jacksonville Jaguars 6

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

Philip Rivers threw for 285 yards and a touchdown, Ryan Mathews ran for 110 yards and a score, and the surging Chargers beat the winless Jaguars. Rivers completed his first 14 passes, picking apart Jacksonville's defense with short throws and clock-eating drives. He finished 22 of 26.

Bye: New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders

Monday's Game

New York Giants 23, Minnesota Vikings 7

Recap | Stats | Video highlights

With six losses on their resume, the New York Giants could have been wondering if they would ever win a game this season. Instead, they searched within to see what they are made of. "The players and coaches have great pride in what we're doing," Eli Manning said Monday night after - at last - the team's first victory, 23-7 over the Minnesota Vikings.
