The AFC South-leading Indianapolis Colts were feeling a bit overconfident heading into Monday's Week 6 finale against the Chargers. Phillip Rivers and company controlled the clock and stole the spotlight from Andrew Luck in his Monday Night Football debut.

Dallas Cowboys 31, Washington Redskins 16

Dwayne Harris returned a punt 86 yards for a touchdown and set up another score with a 90-yard kickoff return as the Dallas Cowboys handed Robert Griffin III his first loss in his home state with a 31-16 victory against the Washington Redskins on Sunday night.

New England Patriots 30, New Orleans 27

With no timeouts and five seconds remaining, Tom Brady found Kenbrell Thompkins in the corner of the end zone as the Patriots handed the Saints their first loss in dramatic fashion. After going 52 weeks with at least one touchdown pass, the late-game scoring strike prevented two straight touchdown-less weeks for Brady. The Saints scored 10 points in the final 3:30 to go up four, but the lead didn't hold, despite a couple of late stands by the New Orleans defense.

Seattle Seahawks 20, Tennessee Titans 13

Marshawn Lynch ran for two touchdowns and had 155 all-purpose yards, Richard Sherman came up with his third interception of the season, and the Seahawks finally shook the Titans in the fourth quarter. Seattle (5-1) won its 11th straight at home despite a long list of mistakes that allowed the Titans (3-3) to hang around into the fourth quarter.

Denver Broncos 35, Jacksonville Jaguars 19

Peyton Manning threw for two scores and Knowshon Moreno ran for three to lead the Broncos to a tougher-than-expected victory over the winless Jaguars. The Broncos (6-0) came in as 27-point favorites, and much of the pregame hype centered on whether they'd cover the spread and when Manning would come out. Neither happened.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

Though strong defensive performances have helped guide San Francisco and Arizona to some success over the past two weeks, the 49ers' offense has picked up steam while the Cardinals' unit remains a work in progress under first-year coach Bruce Arians. The 49ers look for a fifth consecutive home victory over the Cardinals in matchup of NFC West foes each trying for a third straight win.

Green Bay Packers 19, Baltimore Ravens 17

Aaron Rodgers threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson, Mason Crosby kicked four field goals and the Packers held on to beat the Ravens .Despite playing without injured linebacker Clay Matthews, the Packers limited Baltimore to 47 yards rushing and registered five sacks, including three by A.J. Hawk.

Carolina Panthers 35, Minnesota Vikings 10

Cam Newton threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score, and the Panthers romped past Adrian Peterson and the Vikings. Peterson finished with 62 yards on 10 carries and 21 yards on three receptions, but the Vikings (1-4) trailed the whole game and didn't have much use after halftime for Peterson. The NFL MVP was playing in his first game since his 2-year-old son died .

Kansas City Chiefs 24, Oakland Raiders 7

The Chiefs finally got the best of the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. Jamaal Charles ran for two touchdowns, the Kansas City defense harassed Terrelle Pryor into throwing three second-half interceptions and the Chiefs remain unbeaten .

St. Louis Rams 38, Houston Texans 13

Sam Bradford threw three touchdown passes, St. Louis added a score on defense and special teams and the Rams stunned the mistake-prone Texans. Houston QB Matt Schaub, who sustained an apparent right-ankle injury , didn't have a turnover after throwing six interceptions in the past three games. Vince Young (remember him?) has nominated himself to right the ship .

Philadelphia Eagles 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20

With a confident Nick Foles leading the way, throwing for three touchdowns and running for a fourth, Philadelphia's fast-paced offense was hard to stop. Foles finished a long first-quarter scoring drive with a 4-run and threw scoring passes of 12 and 36 yards to DeSean Jackson.

Pittsburgh Steelers 19, New York Jets 6

Ben Roethlisberger threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders, Shaun Suisham kicked four field goals, and the Steelers won their first game of the season. Sunday's victory was also the 600th in franchise history, including the postseason, as Pittsburgh became only the fourth team to reach the milestone. The win also contained the day's best early (and clean) hit .

Cincinnati Bengals 27, Buffalo Bills 24, OT

Mike Nugent hit a 43-yard field goal with 6:44 left in overtime to lift the Bengals. Brandon Tate's 29-yard punt return to the Bills' 33 set up the decisive score. Andy Dalton went 26 of 40 for 337 yards, with three touchdowns and an interception. Thad Lewis, starting in place of an injured EJ Manuel, went 19 of 32 for 216 yards and two touchdowns after being promoted off the practice squad.

Detroit Lions 31, Cleveland Browns 17

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw three of his four touchdown passes in the second half, outscoring the Browns 24-0 in the second half. Undrafted rookie tight end Joe Fauria caught three of those TD passes, displaying some ... interesting dance moves in the process.

Chicago Bears 27, New York Giants 21

Jay Cutler had no trouble finding Brandon Marshall this time. Tim Jennings struck early and late, and the Chicago Bears got the win they needed against a team still searching for its first victory. Cutler threw two touchdown passes to Marshall, and Jennings had two of Chicago's three interceptions against Eli Manning.
