NFL scores Week 1: Live updates, results, highlights from today's games image

Week 1 of the 2019 NFL regular season gets underway with a number of intriguing matchups.

The NFL season kicked off on Thursday between a divisional matchup between the Packers and Bears and is highlighted by a heavyweight AFC battle between the Steelers and Patriots on Sunday night.

There's no shortage of headlines in Week 1, including Odell Beckham's Browns debut, Ezekiel Elliott's workload post-holdout and the ongoing Antonio Brown saga. And, as always, there will be storylines ahead that we can't even anticipate.

Week 1 features three games on national TV this weekend: Pittsburgh heads to New England on Sunday night, and the annual 'Monday Night Football' season-opening doubleheader features Houston at New Orleans and Denver at Oakland.

Titans vs. Browns

10:11 Q1: Dontrell Hilliard muscles his way into the endzone for a score to make it 6-0 in favor of the Browns after a missed extra point.

6:40 Q1: Cairo Santos hits a 37-yard field goal to cut the Browns' lead in half at 6-3.

9:42 Q2: Derrick Henry punches it in from the goalline to take the lead back for the Titans, making it 10-6.

1:42 Q2: Baker Mayfield goes down in the endzone for a Titans safety. The score is now 12-6.

1:57 Q3: Marcus Mariota hits Derrick Henry, who makes his way 75 yards for a touchdown to make it 22-13 in favor of the Titans.

12:32 Q4: Mariota finds Delanie Walker in the endzone for a 13-yard score and the Titans are blowing it open at 29-13.

3:02 Q4: The game is all but solved with Malcolm Butler recording a pick-six off Mayfield to make it 43-13.

Final: After all the preseason hype, the Browns are embarrassed in their season opener in the 43-13 loss to the Titans.

Ravens vs. Dolphins

10:34 Q1: Mark Ingram punches his way into the endzone to give the Ravens a 7-0 lead.

8:37 Q1: Lamar Jackson hits Marquise Brown for a 47-yard touchdown to extend the Raven's lead to 14-0.

4:17 Q1: Marquise Brown again! This time it's an 83-yard touchdown in his second catch and second touchdown of the game to make it 21-0.

13:56 Q2: Jackson tosses another strike, finding Willie Snead for a 33-yard touchdown as the lead extends to 28-0.

10:38 Q2: The Dolphins are on the board for the first time this season as Jason Sanders is good from 54, making it 28-3.

6:50 Q2: Jackson scrambles out of the pocket and tosses it to Miles Boykin for a five-yard touchdown as the beatdown continues. Ravens up 35-3.

1:42 Q2: Mark Ingram plunges his way in from three yards out. Ravens have put up 42 in the first half as it's 42-3. 

0:13 Q2: The Dolphins have their first touchdown of the year with Ryan Fitzpatrick hitting Preston Williams for a six-yard score, making it 42-10.

9:24 Q4: Baltimore brought in its backup QB in Robert Griffin III, but the scoring continues. He finds Mark Andrews for a three-yard touchdown and the lead is now 59-10.

Final: Fortunately for Miami, Baltimore was unable to put any more points on the board in the 59-10 blowout.

Falcons vs. Vikings

11:50 Q1: Adam Thielen gets a bullet from Kirk Cousins and Thielen does the rest to put the Vikings up 7-0 early.

8:22 Q1: Dalvin Cook reaches paydirt this time with a 19-yard rushing touchdown to make it 14-0.

4:40 Q2: Cousins leaps over the pile on the QB sneak as the score swells to 21-0.

0:29 Q3: Cook is too much for the Falcon defense. He scoots his way in for a seven-yard touchdown and the blowout is on at 28-0.

9:19 Q4: The Falcons finally erase the goose egg with a 20-yard pass from Matt Ryan to Calvin Ridley to make it 28-6 after a failed two-point conversion.

Final: Atlanta gets another late score but Minnesota is victorious with a 28-12 win.

Bills vs. Jets

10:34 Q1: C.J. Mosley intercepts a Josh Allen pass attempt and takes it to the house to give the Bills a 6-0 lead (the extra point was missed).

12:01 Q3: The Jets make it 8-0 with another defensive score, this time a safety to make it 8-0.

7:02 Q3: Sam Darnold goes to Le'Veon Bell for a nine-yard touchdown, his first in a Jets uniform. The two-point conversation makes the lead 16-0.

10:21 Q4: Josh Allen takes it himself to get Buffalo its first touchdown, cutting the New York lead to 16-10.

3:00 Q4: Buffalo comes all the way back from an awful first half to take the lead at 17-16 with Allen hitting John Brown for a 38-yard touchdown pass.

Final: The Jets are unable to come up with points on the next drive and Buffalo comes away with a 17-16 win.

Redskins vs. Eagles

10:54 Q1: Case Keenum finds Vernon Davis and Davis leaps over defenders en route to a 48-yard touchdown score. Redskins lead 7-0.

2:48 Q1: Dustin Hopkins hits a 41-yard field goal to extend the Redskins lead to 10-0.

9:57 Q2: Keenum logs his second touchdown of the day, going to Terry McLaurin for a 70-yard touchdown, making it 17-0.

4:19 Q2: Carson Wentz lobs it 51 yards to DeSean Jackson for the touchdown and the Eagles are on the board for the first time as the score reads 17-7.

7:50 Q3: Wentz goes to Alshon Jeffery for six with a five-yard touchdown and the score is now 20-14. 

5:15 Q3: The Wentz-Jackson connection is alive, the second touchdown of the day between the duo as the Eagles take the lead at 21-20.

14:55 Q4: Philly scores again, Jeffery muscles his way into the endzone and a two-point conversation makes it 29-20

Final: The Redskins score late but it's not enough to prevent Philly's comeback. The Eagles come up with a 32-27 win.

Rams vs. Panthers

13:43 Q1: Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein knocks home a 49-yard field goal for the first points of the day, making it 3-0.

12:44 Q2: Malcolm Brown goes up the gut for a five-yard touchdown rush, extending the Ram lead to 10-0.

1:02 Q2: Zuerlein is good again on a long kick, this time from 56 yards as the Rams lead 13-0.

0:15 Q2: Panthers have their first points of the season on the Joey Slye 46-yard field goal as it's 13-3 at the break.

8:28 Q3: Christian McCaffery gets his first score to make it a one-possession game at 16-10

2:51 Q3: Brown responds with a one-yard punch to put the Rams ahead 23-10.

13:14 Q4: McCaffery keeps Carolina within striking distance with a two-yard score to make it 23-20.

6:41 Q4: Tyler Higbee gets a touchdown reception from Jared Goff and the score moves to 30-20.

1:58 Q4: Alex Armah punches in a one-yard touchdown to make the score 30-27 with just under two minutes to go.

Final: Rams pick up necessary yardage to put the game away, beating Carolina 30-27 on the road.

Chiefs vs. Jaguars

13:24 Q1: Patrick Mahomes hits Sammy Watkins and Watkins takes it 68 yards to the house for the game's opening score to make it 7-0.

8:57 Q1: Harrison Butker tacks on three points on the 28-yard field goal to give the Chiefs a 10-0 lead early.

5:23 Q1: Nick Foles has a beautiful find to D.J. Chark for a 35-yard touchdown as the Jags cut into the Kansas City deficit, making it 10-7.

2:36 Q1: Watkins gets into the endzone again with a 49-yard touchdown from Mahomes. Chiefs up 17-7.

11:36 Q2: With Nick Foles out for the game, Gardner Minshew checks in and leads a drive that ends with a Josh Lambo 37-yard field goal, cutting the lead to 17-10.

7:56 Q2: Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill are both banged up but the Chiefs add three points via a Butker 25-yard field goal as the score moves to 20-10.

4:22 Q2: Lambo hits another field goal on a 23-yard attempt and the Jaguars pull within a touchdown at 20-13.

0:24 Q2: Butker is good again, from 46 yards this time. Chiefs up 23-13.

0:15 Q3: Mahomes hooks up with Watkins again for a three-yard touchdown to make it 37-13. It's Watkins' third touchdown of the day.

Final: Both teams tack on more points in garbage time but Kansas City comes up with a 40-26 win. 

Colts vs. Chargers

2:55 Q1: Philip Rivers hits Austin Ekeler for a one-yard touchdown to open the game's scoring at 7-0.

10:02 Q2: Jacoby Brissett finds T.Y. Hilton for a four-yard passing touchdown but a missed extra point by Adam Vinatieri makes it 7-6.

5:58 Q2: Another Rivers strike, this time to Keenan Allen for 28 yards to extend the lead to 14-6.

1:02 Q2: Ty Long nails a 40-yard field goal to go ahead 17-6.

11:15 Q3: Vinatieri puts away some early struggles with a 44-yard field goal to make it 17-9.

8:27 Q3: Rivers dumps its off to Austin Ekeler who goes the distance for 55 yards to extend the lead to 24-9.

7:40 Q3: Marlon Mack goes up the gut and outside for a 63-yard touchdown as a big response, making it 24-16.

0:47 Q4: Brissett gets it out to Hilton who makes the most of the touch by finding his way for the score. Mack plunged into the endzone on the two-point conversion to tie it at 24.

Final: Austin Ekeler punches it in from five yards away as the Chargers take home the overtime victory at 30-24.

Bengals vs. Seahawks

2:52 Q1: Randy Bullock makes a 39-yard field goal to wrap up a 13-play Bengals drive with a 3-0 advantage.

6:36 Q1: Chris Carson takes it out of the shotgun on a draw and goes almost untouched as the Seahawks take a 7-3 lead.

5:12 Q1: Andy Dalton flings it out to John Ross III for a 33-yard touchdown on a flea flicker to make it 10-7.

0:57 Q2: Russell Wilson hits Carson in the flat and he muscles his way in for a score. Seattle takes the lead back to make it 14-10.

0:07 Q2: A massive strike right before the break goes to Ross again, a 55-yard touchdown from Dalton to go back up 17-14.

14:53 Q3: Wilson lofts it to Tyler Lockett who makes his first catch of the season with a 44-yard touchdown grab. Seattle is back ahead with a 21-17 lead.

7:00 Q4: Bengals couldn't get a touchdown but a Bullock field goal gets them within one at 21-20.

Final: Dalton turns it over with a fumble in the final seconds and Seattle hangs on to a 21-20 win.

Giants vs. Cowboys

8:06 Q1: Eli Manning gets it out to Evan Engram for a touchdown on first-and-goal as the road Giants are up 7-0.

3:19 Q1: Dak Prescott responds, getting it to Blake Jarwin for a 28-yard score to knot it up at 7.

10:19 Q2: He's back. Jason Witten scores six off a four-yard pass from Prescott. Cowboys up 14-7.

1:19 Q2: Prescott's third touchdown of the half goes to Amari Cooper on a 21-yard touchdown, making it 21-7.

10:59 Q3: Giants tack on three points off a long drive to close the lead to 21-10.

10:20 Q3: Prescott tosses to Randall Cobb who was by himself across the middle, extending the lead to 28-10.

1:12 Q3: Ezekiel Elliott runs off to the left for a 10-yard touchdown score and the Cowboys have blown it open with a 35-10 advantage late in the third.

Final: Cowboys allow a touchdown in the fourth but win their first game on the year with a 35-17 victory.

Lions vs. Cardinals

14:07 Q2: Matt Prater is good from 55 for the first points up the day. Lions up 3-0.

12:23 Q2: Matthew Stafford gets it out to a wide-open Danny Amendola, who makes a nice move to the endzone to make it 10-0.

3:38 Q2: Stafford goes to Kenny Golladay for a nine-yard touchdown and the Lions extend the lead to 17-0.

1:19 Q2: The Cardinals cut into the deficit with a field goal shortly before half as it moves to 17-3.

4:38 Q3: Zane Gonzalez hits a 42-yard field goal, his second of the day, to make it 17-6.

14:47 Q4: T.J. Hockenson adds to his great day with a jump-ball touchdown to improve Detroit's lead to 24-6.

5:57 Q4: Kyler Murray's first career touchdown is an endzone shot to David Johnson to make it 24-16.

0:43 Q4: Murray hits Fitzgerald for a four-yard touchdown score and Christian Kirk on the two-point conversion to tie the game at 24. 

7:17 OT: Zane Gonzalez knocks through a 28-yard field goal to take Arizona's first lead of the game, a 27-24 lead.

3:48 OT: After an endzone shot was knocked away, Matt Prater hits a 33-yard field goal to again tie the game at 27.

Final: Detroit and Arizona are unable to score again in overtime and the game ends in a 27-27 tie.

49ers vs. Buccaneers

11:12 Q1: The 49ers were unable to get in the endzone but Robbie Gould completes the drive with a 29-yard field goal, making it 3-0.

8:41 Q2: Vernon Hargreaves III reads Jimmy Garoppolo's eyes and takes an interception 15 yards to the house to make it 7-3.

2:55 Q2: Gould is good from 36 yards and the score is now 7-6.

12:31 Q3: Garoppolo needles it to Richie James for a 39-yard go-ahead score to make it 13-7.

11:44 Q3: The 49ers add seven more with the second interception return of the game. Richard Sherman takes the Winston pass 31 yards to the endzone as the score reads 20-7.

5:43 Q3:  Winston completes a 10-yard touchdown pass to Charles Godwin, cutting the San Fran lead to 20-14.

4:41 Q4: A Tampa Bay field goal trims the lead in half to 20-17 with just under five minutes to play.

2:01 Q4: The third (!) pick-six of the day belongs to San Francisco, a 25-yard return to make it 31-17 just before the two-minute warning.

Final: The 49ers move to 1-0 with a 31-17 over Tampa Bay on the road.
