NFL schedule Week 17: TV coverage, channels, scores for every football game today image

It's the penultimate week of the NFL regular season, and several matchups have serious playoff implications.

The early-afternoon window features a pivotal NFC South game between the Panthers and Buccaneers. Carolina would win the NFC South with a win against the Buccaneers and both a Saints loss to the Eagles in Week 17 and a Buccaneers loss to the Falcons in Week 18, or by winning out. Tampa Bay would clinch the division with a win over Carolina.

The Dolphins and Patriots, who are both seeing their wild-card spots start to slip away, will face off in Foxborough. The Patriots need a win to stay alive in the playoff race.

The stakes are even higher In the late-afternoon window. The Jets and Seahawks will play in Seattle. Both teams would be all but eliminated from playoff contention with a loss. The Vikings have already sealed the NFC North title, but the Packers can continue their late playoff push by beating their division rival at Lambeau Field.

Sunday ends with another longtime playoff staple, the Steelers, needing a win to avoid both elimination and the first losing season under Mike Tomlin. Winning will be easier said than done, however; the Steelers will face the Ravens, who are hoping to ensure their Week 18 game against Cincinnati is for the AFC North.

WEEK 17 PICKS: Straight up | Against the spread

Both the Bills and Bengals have their eyes on the AFC's No. 1 seed, and they're meeting on "Monday Night Football." A Bills win would keep them ahead of the Chiefs in the race for the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. A Cincinnati win would all but knock Buffalo out of the top-seed picture and also put the Bengals one win and a Chiefs loss away from home-field advantage. The Bengals could clinch the AFC North in Week 17 with a win and Ravens loss. Otherwise, their Week 18 game will be for the division.
