The penultimate week of the NFL schedule delivers some key games for playoff seeding and clinching scenarios.

Week 16 started Saturday with an intriguing tripleheader, but there are still big matchups looming Sunday.

The most important game is likely the NFC East battle between the Cowboys and the Eagles, who enter Week 16 tied for the division lead with a 7-7 record.

Two of the three teams tied for the best record in the NFC are in action Sunday. The Saints visit the Titans, and the Seahawks host the Cardinals. Green Bay has the Monday night game against Minnesota. In the AFC wild card race, the Steelers face the Jets.

How to watch, live stream NFL games

Week 15 kicked off Saturday with a tripleheader, when the Texans beat the Buccaneers, the Patriots held off the Bills and the 49ers knocked out the Rams.

Sunday's slate begins with seven 1 p.m. games. One is between teams above .500; the Saints facing Tennessee.

There are four afternoon games, including the huge NFC East battle between Dallas and Philadelphia.

The remaining two primetime games of the week begin Sunday night with the Chiefs going on the road to take on the Bears, and on Monday night, the Vikings host the Packers.
