The first week of the NFL season is complete. Many games ended up as predicted, but we saw a few surprises, too.
The Lions did not meet any expectations in Week 1, while their opponents, the Jets led by rookie QB Sam Darnold, played better than many expected. The Buccaneers beat the Saints in a shootout and the Browns ended their losing streak with a tie against the Steelers.
