NFL Picks Week 6: Patriots get their Deflategate revenge image

The Colts' accusations in last year's AFC Championship regarding the Patriots turned into one of the most asinine stories of the offeseason. Thankfully Deflategate has come and gone, but the Patriots still have a big chip on their shoulder for the legitimacy as champions being called into question. They've steamrolled through their first five opponents, have the most productive offense in the NFL and now get their revenge on the Colts in Week 6.

And with the Colts getting their footing with three straight wins, this could turn into a shootout between Andrew Luck and Tom Brady

We've got the latest odds, lines and analysis for Week 6 from our experts. Here are some of the key games for this week.

Patriots at Colts against the spread

When Indianapolis has had a healthy Andrew Luck, it has never beaten New England. The Patriots have won those four meetings by the scores of 59-24, 43-22, 42-20 and 45-7. Nothing has to give here, with Tom Brady having superfluous motivation and Luck, if he plays, doing so with a sore shoulder. As usual, the Patriots will deflate the Colts’ hopes with a power running game, courtesy of LeGarrette Blount. Lather, rinse, repeat. Patriots win 38-17 and cover the spread.

Chargers at Packers straight-up pick

The Chargers had no business losing Monday night to a team that spent most of the game almost trying to find a way to lose. Weather isn’t likely to be a factor at Lambeau this early, but why trust the Chargers crossing time zones and playing Aaron Rodgers and Co.? They couldn’t handle 78-year-old Mike Vick in their own building. Packers, 34-20.

Panthers at Seahawks odds and lines

Line: Seattle -7

Total: 41

Linesmakers take:This has the look of a shutout. The Seahawks have been struggling offensively, but we've got that defense on our side. Carolina will have trouble moving the ball, which makes UNDER 41 look good, and the Seattle D will set the offense up for easy scores. Predicted score: 23-3.
