Last season, NFL fans watched the sport for the first time without Tom Brady leading one of the 32 franchises since he took over for Drew Bledsoe as the New England Patriots starter back in 2001.
However, fans in New England will have the opportunity to celebrate the career of the future Hall of Famer on June 12 at 7 p.m. ET, as the Patriots will host a ceremony at Gillette Stadium to remember his incredible career and induct him into their team Hall of Fame.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, tickets for the event will go on sale at a discounted rate for Patriots season ticket holders this week. Once those season ticket holders who wish to buy them have done so, the remainder, if there are any, will be put on sale for the public later this month.
While those in attendance won't witness the flair and competition of a game, surely the Patriots will spare no expense to celebrate the career of the player that made the franchise what it is today.
To be in the house for this event might be worth the price, although details haven't yet been made available of exactly what the price is.
