The NFL is always thinking of new ways to expose its products to the fine folks in London. The Bills and Jaguars face each other this weekend in what will be the second of three games played this season in the UK.
There have been rumors about the NFL establishing a team permanently in London, although that would be years in the future. For now, the league is taking small steps each year to improve its presence. One step, as NFL Media reported, is to have one team play two games in London, presumably the better to build a fan following.

If a team were to accept, it would have to play in back-to-back weeks and likely would get to count both games as away games so as to not lose two home games. So far, the Jaguars are the only team signed on to play for the 2016 season.
In 2015 the NFL has three games scheduled for the first time. The Jets defeated the Dolphins in the first, the Bills and Jags play this week and the Chiefs face the Lions on Nov. 1. The Jaguars have an agreement under which they play in London from 2013-2016. The Lions are playing across the pond in back-to-back seasons.
