The Broncos put themselves in a deep hole by starting the 2023 season with five losses in their first six games, but they are beginning to crawl out of it.

Denver put together winning performances in Weeks 7 and 8, defeating Green Bay and Kansas City to move to 3-5. The Broncos still have work to do if they want to be a real playoff threat, but Bills coach Sean McDermott, who will go head-to-head with Sean Payton on Monday, sees a team that is quickly coming together.

"We've had our battles, and he's a phenomenal head coach, leader and really smart when you get a chance to get around him and talk with him," McDermott said of Payton. "I'm not surprised that they're playing the way that they are, beating the Chiefs and then watching their team come together the way it has."

Will Payton and the Broncos get the best of McDermott and the Bills on "Monday Night Football"?
