After months of speculation, nitpicking and projecting our worst fears onto this next crop of young talented football players, the NFL Draft is finally underway.
Even through the expected picks, the first round was a night full of surprises. Whether it was the five quarterbacks going in the first round, two brothers getting picked, or the littany of trades that went down, everyone was on their toes most of Thursday night.
But the draft weekend isn't over yet. There are still six more rounds to go through — with two of them getting broadcasted tonight at 7 p.m..
While you wait, feel free to read some Sporting News coverage of the draft including pick grades , Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson .
Now, here's a roundup of what we're hearing before the Browns are back officially on the clock to start this circus all over again for Rounds 2 and 3.
