The Eagles are discussing a deal to move up to the No. 2 slot in Thursday night's NFL Draft, according to multiple reports.

According to Yahoo Sports and Fox Sports, the move would be to grab a quarterback behind the Los Angeles Rams, who acquired the No. 1 pick in a trade with the Titans and are also likely to select a QB with the top pick.
Philadelphia would give up its No. 8 overall pick plus two third-rounders (Nos. 77 and 79 overall) and a first- and third-round pick in the 2017 draft, Fox Sports reported.
IF @Eagles & @Browns make deal for No. 2 overall pick, I'm told compensation includes 1st- & 3rd-rnd picks in 2016/17 @SiriusXMNFL @NFLonFOX

Carson Wentz and Jared Goff are widely thought to be the top two quarterbacks entering the draft. Wentz recently visited with the Rams.
The Eagles signed Sam Bradford and Chase Daniels this offseason, so their plans for another quarterback could seem a bit confusing. Yahoo reported the idea is to develop Goff or Wentz as the future of the franchise with the security of two veterans on the roster.
