NFL Draft Concerts 2023

Thursday: Fall Out Boy

Chicago-based multi-platinum award-winning rock band Fall Out Boy will start the festivities after the first 31 rookies have been selected in Round 1 of the Draft on Thursday.

They are preparing to go on a world tour in June in support of their eighth studio album, what they're calling the So Much For (Tour), which begins in their hometown on June 21 at Wrigley Field. They will head overseas Aug. 19 to Japan before touring several European countries.

Friday: Mötley Crüe

Day 2 brings in something a little more old-school when the iconic 1980s hair metal band Mötley Crüe hits the stage.

They're currently touring midway through the globe, on what they're calling The WORLD Tour, having started in Central and South America in February and March. They're on a pause until May 22, where they'll pick back up by traveling across 17 European countries. They'll return for some U.S. shows on Aug. 5.

Saturday: Thundercat

The Draft will conclude on Saturday with an appearance from Grammy-winning bassist and vocalist Thundercat, who the league says will "curate a special performance which will pay tribute to the rich music history and the legacy of jazz in Kansas City."

Other talent, entertainment at 2023 NFL Draft

In addition to the three headlining bands, there are several other entertainers joining the agenda.

Brittney Spencer, an up and coming country singer-songwriter, will be performing the national anthem live from downtown as part of the opening festivities.

Kansas City will have one of their long-time residents in Oleta Adams performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Lost Wax, another Kansas City act, will be the resident house band at the Draft Theater to provide jams between selections.
