LIVE: 2017 NFL Draft tracker
After what was the most unpredictable first round of a draft in the last 10 years for fans and NFL teams alike, Day 2 of the 2017 NFL Draft hopefully will be more calm and predictable, especially since the Browns don’t kick off Round 2.
These fits are based primarily on schemes and individual team grades, but I expect a lot of movement by the middle of Round 2.
Joe Mixon, Dalvin Cook and DeShone Kizer are the names to watch in the second round. I don’t believe they’ll last long Friday night.

NFL Mock Draft 2017: Round 2
33. Green Bay Packers: Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma
The Packers don’t shy away from character red flags, especially since the Green Bay media won’t be all that difficult if the team opts for Mixon. The Packers want to add a running back, and Mixon fits their profile.
34. Seattle Seahawks: Forrest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky
The Seahawks wanted to add an offensive lineman early, and they may still get one of their top targets at No. 34 while also adding extra third- and fourth-round picks.
35. Jacksonville Jaguars: Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
Robinson is their top-rated offensive tackle, and some believed they could shock and take him fourth overall. Grabbing him in Round 2 would be an awesome value.
36. Chicago Bears: Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech
The Bears could use receiver help, and after drafting Mitchell Trubisky, I’d expect them to get him at least one young target with whom to grow. Henderson is a good fit.
37. Los Angeles Rams: Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
With their first pick in the draft, I expect the Rams to get new head coach Sean McVay an offensive player. Jones fits the receiver type he seems to like.
38. Los Angeles Chargers: Marcus Maye, S, Florida
The Chargers considered Malik Hooker in Round 1. Instead, they get their receiver early and get a fringe first-round prospect with Maye at No. 38.
39. New York Jets: Juju Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
Without Brandon Marshall, the Jets leave much to be desired in their receiving corps. Hopefully Smith-Schuster can grow up quickly to help Christian Hackenberg.
40. Carolina Panthers: Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova
GM Dave Gettleman values freakish body types and talents. This is way too high for Kpassagnon, but he fits the Gettleman prototype.
41. Cincinnati Bengals: Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
The Bengals need to add a linebacker early, and Cunningham had first-round projections around the league.
42. New Orleans Saints: Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State
The Saints need to add a pass-rusher after finding a top cornerback in Round 1. Willis is a great value here.
43. Philadelphia Eagles: Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
The Eagles passed on the cornerbacks in favor of Derek Barnett, but they need to find a corner in Round 2. Many in the league like Awuzie.
44. Buffalo Bills: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
The Bills restricted Tyrod Taylor’s contract in a way that hints a quarterback draft pick. They’ve shown interest in Kizer during the process.

45. Arizona Cardinals: Davis Webb, QB, California
It’s hard to tell who they prefer between Kizer or Webb, but both have the strong arms they covet. Kizer is a better value, while Webb is a good scheme fit.
46. Indianapolis Colts: Tyus Bowser, OLB, Houston
Bowser is a favorite of the Colts, and if the were to move down in Round 1 he likely would have been the target. He’s a first round-worthy prospect.
47. Baltimore Ravens: Curtis Samuel, WR, Ohio State
The Ravens want to add an offensive playmaker, and Samuel fits that build. He’d be better as a receiver for them, arguably their biggest need left.
48. Minnesota Vikings: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
After Adrian Peterson and the Vikings parted ways, they added Latavius Murray. But adding a top running back talent would be a great decision.
49. Washington Redskins: Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Cook is their top-rated running back, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they moved up to get him in Round 2.
50. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Obi Melifonwu, S, UConn
The Bucs want to keep their secondary a strength, and they like Melfonwu a lot.
51. Denver Broncos: Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan
Denver values their defensive line highly, and Wormely is a strong value.
52. Cleveland Browns: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
If not for his post-season injury, Jones would have been a first-rounder. If the Browns can snag him, their tremendous draft would continue.
53. Detroit Lions: Bucky Hodges, TE, Virginia Tech
The Lions want to add a tight end early in the draft. It’s clear they didn’t value Njoku high enough for Round 1, but Hodges could be their target in the second.
54. Miami Dolphins: Isaac Asiata, G, Utah
Miami passed on Forrest Lamp in Round 1 but needs to add a guard early. Asiata is a favorite of the Dolphins, and they may not risk waiting until Round 3 to get him.
55. New York Giants: Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
Built just like Jason Pierre-Paul, Hall is a great student to develop behind JPP and eventually take his place in 2018 or '19.

56. Oakland Raiders: Carl Lawson, DE, Auburn
The Raiders want to keep a strength a strength, and Lawson can help keep their pass rush strong.
57. Houston Texans: Budda Baker, S, Washington
If Houston didn’t get Watson in Round 1, safety likely would have been their position to target, with Baker in consideration.
58. Seattle Seahawks: Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
The Seahawks could wait until late Round 2 or even Round 3 to address cornerback, despite it appearing like a huge need. Wilson is a good scheme fit.
59. Kansas City Chiefs: Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan State
The Chiefs haven’t shied away from character red flags in the past. They have a need along their defensive line.
60. Dallas Cowboys: Cordera Tankersly, CB, Clemson
Tankersly is a cornerback the Cowboys like, and they will look to fill their corner need in Round 2 or 3.
61. Green Bay Packers: Kevin King, CB, Washington
The Packers were considering King in case they stayed put in Round 1. He could fall to the them here in the late second round.
62. Pittsburgh Steelers: Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State
Pittsburgh wants to add weapons to its offense, and Godwin fits the Steelers' prototype.
63. Atlanta Falcons: Dion Dawkins, G, Temple
If not for the pass-rushers falling on Day 1, the Falcons would have taken an offensive guard. They get one of their targets here in Round 2.
64. Carolina Panthers: Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
Carolina invested in its secondary during last year’s draft, but adding a dual-value safety would be a strong decision this year.
NFL Mock Draft 2017: Round 3
65. Cleveland Browns: Josh Dobbs, QB, Tennessee
66. San Francisco 49ers: Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama
67. San Francisco 49ers: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
68. Jacksonville Jaguars: Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh
69. Los Angeles Rams: Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
70. New York Jets: Derek Rivers, OLB, Youngstown State
71. Los Angeles Chargers: Marcus Williams, S, Utah
72. New England Patriots: Josh Jones, S, NC State
73. Cincinnati Bengals: Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte
