When the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys meet during the 2024 campaign, there might be a little extra juice because of a feud that appears to be brewing between cornerback Jourdan Lewis and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
During a recent appearance on "The Pivot" podcast, St. Brown revealed that Lewis is quite the trash talker, something he mentioned after being asked who he doesn't like to face on Sundays.
St. Brown revealed that Lewis has trash talked him to a "crazy" extent, although he did not reveal any of the things the Cowboys cornerback said to him exactly.
“I don’t talk much unless someone’s going to talk to me. I block hard, I do all that, but he was talking crazy,” St. Brown said. “Like some s--- I’ve never heard before. I’m like, ‘Yo, hold on. I’ma have to go hard on this [expletive].’
"He was talking crazy out of pocket. Jamo (Jameson Williams) heard it, too. He was coming in.”
Shortly after the clip of St. Brown saying that dropped, Lewis, who was born in Detroit and went to college at Michigan, took to Instagram to respond and took a shot at the Lions wide receiver in the process.
"I am passionate about my craft and I don't want to be friends with everyone, especially a Detroit Lion not from Detroit," Lewis wrote.
St. Brown is all-in on the Lions and the city of Detroit, so he isn't going to like hearing that. We'll see if this back and forth leads to anything extra when the Cowboys host the Lions in Week 6.
