It has become an annual tradition for EA Sports' Madden NFL video games to slowly release its player ratings for the latest installment of the game, and it has also become annual tradition for fans to get angry about them. Tennessee Titans fans are certainly no strangers to that.
And they won't be happy about how Madden NFL 25 rated quarterback Will Levis, who was given a 72 overall. Making that rating look even worse is the fact that Levis has the same or worse rating as three backups.
That group includes the Indianapolis Colts' Joe Flacco (72), the Carolina Panthers' Andy Dalton (72) and the Pittsburgh Steelers' Justin Fields (75).
Levis also falls behind the Las Vegas Raiders' Gardner Minshew (73) and the New England Patriots' Drake Maye (74), both of whom might be backups depending on how their respective quarterback competitions go. Also bear in mind, Maye hasn't taken a single snap in the NFL yet.
Other first-year signal-callers with a higher rating include the Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams (76) and the Washington Commanders' Jayden Daniels (74).

Levis is coming off a solid rookie campaign in which he showed plenty of promise despite being surrounded with a less-than ideal supporting cast. If he were in a bigger market, rest assured he'd have more hype and a higher rating.
That said, Levis does still have to cement himself as the long-term answer in Nashville, and he'll be in a better position to do so than he was last season after Tennessee greatly beefed up the talent around him.
If Levis can accomplish that feat, he'll no doubt have a higher rating by season's end.
