Netflix had a rousing success with their documentary Quarterback last year. Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota were the stars of the show as a documentary crew followed them around for a year to see the process they go through during the NFL season.
Following the success of Quarterback, they wanted to do a second year of that. They couldn't get enough players to agree to it so Netflix shifted focus.
The documentary follows the same process of Quarterback by following around four wide receivers and a tight end. Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson, Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown, Las Vegas Raiders' Davante Adams, San Francisco 49ers' Deebo Samuel and 49ers' George Kittle were the subjects in 2023 and there were a lot of interesting storylines to follow throughout.
Netflix released the trailers for the documentary on Thursday morning and it shows quite a few of interesting storylines the documentary will follow.
