The New York Giants are hoping to bounce back from a 6-11 season, but they will face a tough road in terms of their strength of schedule in 2024.
Using the projected win totals from the oddsmakers, Sharp Football Analytics revealed the strength of schedule for each team going into the 2024 season.
For the Giants, they rank 20th in the NFL in their strength of schedule metric, meaning they have the 13th-toughest strength of schedule.
Even with some new additions like edge rusher Brian Burns and wide receiver Malik Nabers, the Giants will have an uphill battle in the NFC East.
How the quarterback position plays out will be a major factor in their success. Daniel Jones continues to work his way back from an ACL tear and Drew Lock was signed in free agency as a backup option to compete in the room.
The Giants have the ability to finish better than their 6-11 record just by getting some healthy players back in the mix, but they face a difficult road back to the playoffs.
Here's a reminder of who the Giants will face in 2024:
Home opponents: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts
Away opponents: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks
