The New York Giants are less than two weeks away from the 2024 NFL Draft where they hope to add more talent to the depth chart.

With six picks slated for the biggest weekend of the offseason, the Giants will have to prioritize certain positions of need when they can. We should expect general manager Joe Schoen to make a trade at some point early in the draft to gain some more capital.

Before the draft arrives for Big Blue, here's a quick look at the depth chart entering the draft:

New York Giants depth chart entering NFL Draft

Giants Offensive Depth Chart

WR Jalin Hyatt Isaiah Hodgins Dennis Houston
Slot WR Wan'Dale Robinson Isaiah McKenzie Gunner Olszewski

LT Andrew Thomas Yodny Cajuste Joshua Miles
LG Aaron Stinnie Joshua Ezeudu
C John Michael Schmitz Austin Schlottman Jimmy Morrissey
RG Jon Runyan Marcus McKethan Jalen Mayfield
RT Jermaine Eluemunor Evan Neal Matt Nelson

Notes

  • Darren Waller is still undecided when it comes to a potential retirement. That decision makes an impact on the depth chart.
  • There's expected to be a competition between Evan Neal and Jermaine Eluemunor for the starting right tackle spot. For now, we give the bump to the veteran.
  • Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt and Wan'Dale Robinson currently project as the team's starting trio. The draft is likely to make a major impact at this position.

1-Tech DT Dexter Lawrence D.J. Davidson Jordon Riley
3-Tech DT Jordan Phillips Rakeem Nunez-Roches Ryder Anderson

CB Nick McCloud Tre Hawkins Stanley Thomas-Oliver
Slot CB Cor'Dale Flott Darnay Holmes

SS Jalen Mills Gervarrius Owens

Notes

  • The secondary is the biggest concern for the Giants right now. Banks has a lot of potential, but the depth behind him at cornerback is thin. The safety position also might be the biggest in terms of pure need.
  • The pass rush has a lot of potential with Burns and Thibodeaux on the edges. Lawrence is an All-Pro caliber interior defender.
  • The linebacker room could use some additions, but it's likely not as high on the priority list as other positions like safety or cornerback.
