The murder of Tennessee Titans great Steve McNair will be covered in a new episode of a popular Netflix docuseries, and it is set to be released next month.
Netflix's "UNTOLD" will cover the tragic events in an episode called "The Murder of Air McNair" that is set to release on Tuesday, August 20.
The description states that the episode will cover "the Titans' 2000 Super Bowl run and unanswered questions surrounding McNair's 2009 murder."
McNair tragically lost his life at the age of 36 on July 4, 2009, when he was shot four times. A police investigation determined that McNair was murdered by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Jenny Kazemi, before she committed suicide.
UNTOLD is back with three new sports stories that go well beyond the headlines.

But even all these years later, there are some out there who question the official story. We'll see just how much Netflix's documentary dives into that subject.
A first-round pick of the Houston Oilers in 1995, McNair went on to become one of the best players in franchise history, and especially in the Titans era. He led the Titans to a Super Bowl appearance during the 2000 season before falling short against the St. Louis Rams, and won co-MVP honors in 2003.
After 11 seasons with the Oilers/Titans, McNair spent the final two years of his career with the Baltimore Ravens.
