Las Vegas could not have come away from Week 14 at a lower point. Not only were the Raiders on a three-game losing streak, but the team picked up its third loss in a 3-0 defeat to the Vikings.
It's safe to stay Antonio Pierce's crew let our their frustrations on Thursday night.
The Raiders throttled the Chargers in the Week 15 edition of "TNF", smacking their division rivals 63-14. Quarterback Aidan O'Connell and the offense found the end zone on their first three drives en route to a 42-0 halftime lead for Las Vegas.
As Pierce said during his halftime interview, the Raiders were not taking their foot off the gas. Las Vegas continued its relentless attack for the full 60 minutes, eventually sealing the deal and improving to 6-8. The win pulled the Raiders ahead of the Chargers in the AFC West standings.
The 42 points in the first half alone were a record itself, but the 63 total points put on the board put the Raiders in select company. Only a handful of squads have ever hit 60 points in NFL history.

Most points scored by an NFL team
Despite the valiant effort of O'Connell and the Las Vegas offense, the Raiders came up short of the NFL's record for most points in a single game.

If you're excluding playoffs, the regular-season record is 72, set by none other than the Redskins against the Giants in 1966.
Earlier in the 2023 season, the Dolphins became just the fourth team ever to crack 70 points in their Week 3 70-20 beating.
