Normally, Week 1 is the only time "Monday Night Football" has a doubleheader. While only one of Week 4's Monday night games will have that official title, ESPN's prime-time broadcast has company.
Aaron Rodgers and the 3-0 Green Bay Packers will play host to the 0-3 Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan on the official "Monday Night Football. After a couple years of wondering whether Rodgers is on a decline and the first-round selection of QB Jordan Love, Rodgers has been throwing all sorts of dimes in the early going this season, having yet to be picked off. But a positive COVID-19 test for Cam Newton has moved the New England Patriots' game in Kansas City back to Monday night on CBS, as well.

That means three star QBs (Rodgers, Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes) along with Brian Hoyer will play Monday night. The Falcons will try to overcome their early-season tendency to blow leads, while Mahomes will look to take advantage of a New England team without its top QB.

Who plays on "Monday Night Football" tonight?

While this matchup isn't quite Patrick Mahomes vs. Lamar Jackson, maybe it'll play out closer than that meeting did last Monday night. Aaron Rodgers is off to a terrific start to the 2020 season, having thrown nine touchdowns and yet to be picked off. While Matt Ryan's performance hasn't led to wins yet, he's already thrown for 961 yards in three games.
The biggest narrative to watch in this game is how the early scoreboard compares to the late scoreboard. Atlanta has had no problem claiming leads in games - it's been a struggle to hold onto them, having twice already blown 15-plus point leads.
And we can all imagine Rodgers taking the field late in the fourth quarter with a chance for a game-winning drive. Wouldn't bet against him pulling it off, either.

This was set to be an awesome quarterback matchup, but now the Patriots are without Newton and instead turn to veteran backup Brian Hoyer. Expect the Pats to lean on their ground game in KC, with Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead dominating the carries.
Mahomes is coming off a Monday night win a week ago over Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in which he threw four touchdowns and ran for another. New England has a strong defense, but so did Baltimore. There's no reason to not expect more highlight-reel plays from the 2018 NFL MVP.

This becomes Kansas City's second-straight game on Monday night, and it starts a string of three games in 10 days for the Chiefs, who play again Sunday before taking on the Bills on Thursday Night Football in Week 6.
New England played earlier this season on a Sunday night, when Cam Newton was stuffed at the goal line to lose in Seattle. The Pats will return to action in Week 5 on Sunday in the late-afternoon window against the Broncos before having a bye.

With the exception of the season-opening "Monday Night Football" doubleheader back in Week 1 and this altered week, all Monday night games are scheduled for the same start time of 8:15 p.m. ET.
The Packers play in prime time for the second-straight week, coming off a Sunday Night Football victory over the Saints in Week 3. Green Bay is scheduled for three more prime-time games before the season's conclusion.
Atlanta will play the first of two prime-time when it takes on Green Bay. The Falcons make their Thursday night appearance in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers.

ESPN reportedly is trying to negotiate a better TV rights deal with the NFL to negotiate more games in the future, but in 2020, the network's only package of NFL games is the complete slate of Monday night games. The network will broadcast all "Monday Night Football" games in 2020 on its flagship ESPN channel.
ESPN is available on most cable systems in the United States. The network also is available via satellite providers DirecTV (Channel 206) and Dish Network (Channel 140) as well as IPTV providers AT&T U-verse (Channel 602 for SD; Channel 1602 for HD), Verizon Fios (Channel 70 for SD; Channel 570 for HD) and Google Fiber (Channel 21).
ESPN has a new lineup of commentators for its "Monday Night Football" broadcasts in 2020 after moving on from last year's broadcast booth duo of Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland. Steve Levy (play-by-play), Brian Griese (analyst) and Louis Riddick (analyst) will call all Monday night games for ESPN this season. Lisa Salters is still the network's sideline reporter.

This is a one-off opportunity for Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and CBS to broadcast a prime-time game thanks to the wrench COVID-19 threw into Week 4's schedule. Normally CBS only broadcasts games in the Sunday window at 1 and 4 p.m., although the network is also in the postseason and Super Bowl rotation.

Because all "Monday Night Football" games in 2020 will broadcast on ESPN, they are available to stream live on all of the network's digital platforms (ESPN.com, ESPN App, etc.). This should be the streaming preference for anybody who has a cable/satellite subscription but can't get in front of a TV.
The Patriots-Chiefs game can be streamed on CBS All Access, as well.
