For the first time since 2011, the Jaguars are playing under the bright lights on Monday night. It's been 12 long years, mostly punctuated by losing and irrelevancy. But after all that darkness, there is light once again in Florida as the Jaguars look to keep pace in the playoff race. Leaders of the AFC South, they draw what didn't look like a favorable matchup even just a few weeks ago, but now that Joe Burrow (thumb) is out for the year, Monday night might become a party atmosphere for the home faithful.
Before we get into our lineup and strategy, here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests: They're full-point PPR and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.
Bengals-Jaguars DraftKings Picks: DFS lineup for Week 13 Monday Night Football
$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.
Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): TE Evan Engram, Jaguars ($9,300)
Engram has yet to score a touchdown this season, but that long streak has a good chance of coming to an end on Monday night in Jacksonville. Cincinnati's defense will be keying in on trying to slow down the WR duo of Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk, freeing up Engram to dominate in a great matchup. The Bengals allow the second-most fantasy points per game to TEs (9.0) and are coming off a game where they let Pat Freiermuth finish with 120 yards. Now tasked with trying to slow down a much better Jacksonville offense, Cincinnati struggles again as Engram feasts. And that warrants the captaincy, since we think most DFS players will prefer options like Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne to hold down the top spot.
FLEX QB Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars ($10,800)
Barring something crazy, Engram isn't going to be running or throwing touchdowns on Monday. That means that a big game form Engram also results in a good day at the office for Lawrence. The QB hasn't been shy in the run game either lately, scoring three touchdowns in the last two games. There is plenty of upside for the dual-threat Lawrence and stacking him with Engram in this way maximizes the lineup.
FLEX RB Travis Etienne Jr., Jaguars ($10,200)
Etienne (ribs) was on the injury report all week, but according to HC Doug Pederson, the RB will suit up for this contest. Etienne's production has fallen off since returning from the bye week, but it's only a matter of time before the Jags' RB finds a groove again. Our selections allowed us to splurge on Etienne, who should be busy if Jacksonville is trying to protect a lead like we think they will be.
FLEX WR Tee Higgins, Bengals ($7,600)
Higgins is back this week and things are going to look awfully different from the last time the WR stepped on the field. But the big-bodied Higgins might be exactly what Jake Browning needs to succeed. The QB hasn't connected with Ja'Marr Chase, but has shown a willingness to target the TEs. Higgins provides a similar frame and could quickly emerge as a favorite weapon for Browning in an offense that is quickly fading.
FLEX RB Joe Mixon, Bengals ($7,000)
Anytime a team is forced to turn to a backup, the running back position gets a boost and understandably so. The emphasis is to now focus on cutting down turnovers and get the ball in the hands of playmakers. Mixon should remain active as both a runner and receiver, especially after Cincinnati abandoned him last week against the Steelers. Expect an overcorrection from Zac Taylor's offense this time around.
FLEX D/ST Jaguars ($4,800)
The Bengals are spiraling and while they'll try to make life easier for Browning, the reality is that this team isn't going to recover without their star QB. We saw them struggle to score 10 points last week and we aren't being given any reason to believe that will be different in Jacksonville. With a turnover or two likely being the floor, we like the ceiling the Jaguars' defense has in Week 13.

Best SuperDraft Bengals-Jaguars DFS Picks
This year, we're also listing our favorite single-game DFS plays on SuperDraft.
For those unfamiliar, SuperDraft's DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is assigned a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Users can roster any player in their lineup with no restrictions.

MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS: How to play SuperDraft
- Champion (+50% points): QB Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (Multiplier 1.5x)
- Super FLEX: WR Christian Kirk, Jaguars (Multiplier 1.35x)
- Super FLEX: TE Evan Engram, Jaguars (Multiplier 1.5x)
- Super FLEX: WR Tee Higgins, Bengals (Multiplier 1.4x)
- Super FLEX: TE Tanner Hudson, Bengals (Multiplier 1.75x)
Our SuperDraft lineup for Monday night keeps our Lawrence-Engram stack, though we're flipping them here to maximize the multipliers. We're also adding in Kirk, who has taken a back-seat to Ridley in recent weeks. As for the Bengals side of things, we're prioritizing Higgins and Hudson, who both should see plenty of targets as Browning tries to take the safe options in the passing game.
