Chicago lost Mitchell Trubisky in Week 4, but the team doesn't think he's lost for the year.
Bears coach Matt Nagy doesn’t believe the quarterback's left (non-throwing) shoulder injury suffered in Sunday's 16-6 win over the Vikings will be season-ending, but he said he will provide more information as it becomes available over the next few days.
"I haven't found out a whole lot other than it's his shoulder, so I'll know more here probably the next day or two," Nagy told reporters after the game. "Hopefully a day. We'll see how all that goes, but it's unfortunate."
Nagy couldn't confirm if the shoulder was dislocated or broken, but added the injury is "frustrating," considering Trubisky still is trying to find his rhythm with the offense. Should Trubisky be sidelined for an extended period, the team will once again turn to backup quarterback Chase Daniel.
"That's why Chase is here," Nagy said. "We’ll prepare for both guys, and I'll know more (later). Again, our game plan is not going to change a whole lot. If Chase is the guy, we're going to do things that Chase does well. If it's Mitch, then we'll continue to keep doing things with him. I'll never get to a point where I'm frozen because I don't know what to do. We'll just keep growing."
ESPN reported Trubisky had an MRI exam Monday that revealed a dislocated left shoulder with a slight labrum tear. However, it's not expected to require surgery.
Initial MRI on Bears’ QB Mitchell Trubisky revealed he has a dislocated left shoulder, with a slight labrum tear, but does not need surgery and should he back “sooner rather than later”, per source. He will travel with team to London and is unlikely to play vs. Raiders.

Trubisky was hurt on the Bears’ sixth play of the game when he was hit and fumbled the ball. He rolled awkwardly onto his left arm in what appeared to be an attempt to reach for the loose ball and possibly break his fall.

He entered Sunday's game having completed 67 of 103 passes for 579 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Bears (3-1) are next slated to play the Raiders (2-2) in London Week 5 action before their Week 6 bye.
