Police release report on fatal accident involving Vikings' Khyree Jackson image

The Minnesota Vikings lost one of their own as rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson passed away in a tragic car accident on Saturday morning at the age of 24.

Jackson was involved in said car accident and passed away. The Maryland State police have released a statement on the accident and it included the following:

  • Jackson wasn't driving. He was sitting in the front seat of the car
  • Their car was struck by a woman police identified as Cori Clingman
  • She was driving a silver Infiniti and struck two cars, including the one Jackson was riding in
  • Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash

Jackson was one of three who passed away in the accident, as 23 year old Isaiah Hazel and 24 year old Anthony Lytton Jr. were in the vehicle with Jackson.

Per the report, charges are pending investigation with the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office.
