There’s a whole lot of Philadelphia Eagles fans who are thrilled with how the first round of the NFL Draft played out, with Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell falling to the Eagles at No. 22 overall.
One man who was decidedly not pleased with the outcome was Dallas Cowboys defensive stud Micah Parsons.
Parsons was watching the draft as a part of his podcast deal with Bleacher Report, and had a camera on him to react live to the Eagles’ selection.
As host Adam Lefkoe explained, Mitchell was one of Parsons’ favorite prospects in the incoming draft class. Now he’ll have to face him on the opposite sideline twice a year.
“I’m honestly utterly disgusted on how lucky the Eagles are,” Parsons said of the pick. “I do not know how he fell that far — this run of offensive tackles and quarterbacks, that’s the only thing that makes sense. I thought he was a top 15, top 12 talent. He was one of my more favorite players in this draft. He checked every box.”

Hilariously, this is the second straight year that Parsons has been left flabbergasted by the Eagles’ draft luck. When Philadelphia was able to reel in defensive tackle Jalen Carter out of Georgia last year, Parsons was similarly frustrated.

Parsons will have to do everything he can to keep his personal big board a secret from the Eagles moving forward this weekend.
