In this day and age, we often see star players leave their respective teams for a better chance to win a championship, but that's not something Las Vegas Raiders superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby ever plans on doing.
Crosby, who was a fourth-round pick of the Raiders in 2019 before ascendeding to the top of the league at his position while also becoming the face of the franchise, recently told Jim Rome that he does not plan on doing what other star players have done quite often across the professional sports landscape.
“No offense to LeBron and those dudes. I won’t give them some heat, but took the easy road traveled. That’s not the way I look at it," Crosby said. "I'm going to be a Raider for life."
“Me in a different color wouldn’t even look right," he added. "I’m a Raider to my core.”

As if Raiders fans needed another reason to want to run through a wall for Crosby, although I'm not sure many fans would have an issue with him leaving later in his career to chase a ring after years of incredible service to the franchise.
Nevertheless, it's refreshing to hear the kind of loyalty Crosby has, and the Raiders have rewarded him for that with a big contract extension in recent years and a raise ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Crosby has earned every penny and there's zero reason to believe that will change anytime soon. Hopefully general manager Tom Telesco can build a winner capable of getting Crosby a ring in the Silver and Black.
