Former Atlanta Falcons MVP quarterback Matt Ryan will officially join CBS Sports' "The NFL Today" pre-game broadcast next season. Ryan will be in the studio with James Brown, Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher and J.J. Watt a year after joining CBS Sports as a game and studio analyst.
Just a week after he retired from the Atlanta Falcons on April 22nd, also known unofficially as Matt Ryan Day (patent pending), the four-time Pro Bowler joins a 13-time Emmy-award-winning broadcast. It has been a pretty good April for Ryan.
He will be joining a broadcast that has been home to some of the biggest names in broadcasting from Brent Musberger to Jim Nantz. He also is the latest of a long line of big-named personalities on the field to sit in The NFL Today Studio, including former teammate Tony Gonzalez.
Congratulations to Ryan and we hope to see him continue his success off the field.
