Mario Williams' disappointing first season with Rex Ryan in charge in Buffalo may also be Williams' last with the Bills.
According to NFL Media, there is a clear, fundamental disconnect between Ryan, his defensive line and Williams, who hasn't been shy about voicing his concerns with the Bills complicated defensive scheme this season.

The fallout may be Williams and the Bills parting ways at the end of the season, with the team saving $12.9 million against the salary cap by releasing the 30-year-old defensive end.
Williams has averaged just over 12 sacks the past three seasons but has only four in 12 games entering Sunday's game against the Redskins.
