Peyton and Eli Manning are back — on your TV, that is, not the field.

ESPN's "ManningCast," the alternate broadcast to the network's main "Monday Night Football" team, returns for its fourth season of the Manning brothers providing some in-game entertainment and hosting guests during the final game of the NFL week.

This year, there's a brilliant football mind that will appear on all 11 ManningCast broadcasts in the first half of the game: Bill Belichick.

Peyton and Eli are back on the big screen for the 2024 NFL season. Here's how to watch the ManningCast this season and more.

When is the next 'ManningCast' broadcast?

The first ManningCast broadcast will come with Week 1 of the NFL season. The Manning brothers and Belichick will be on for the Jets vs. 49ers matchup on Monday night.

New York vs. San Fransisco should be a good one, as Aaron Rodgers is returning from his season-ending injury in Week 1 of last season. Meanwhile, the 49ers will begin their quest to return to the Super Bowl after losing on the final play of Super Bowl 58 vs. the Chiefs.

After the Week 1 broadcast, Peyton and Eli Manning will be back on ESPN2 in Week 2 for Falcons vs. Eagles.

How to watch Peyton and Eli Manning on 'Monday Night Football'

  • TV channel: ESPN2
  • Live stream: ESPN+, Fubo

If you're watching on TV, the ManningCast is exclusively on ESPN2 for each of its broadcasts. ESPN will carry the usual Monday night broadcast with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters.

If you're streaming, the ManningCast can either be found on ESPN+ if you have a subscription, or Fubo, which carries the ESPN networks and offers a free trial to new users.

Why the Manning brothers are on 'Monday Night Football'

The ManningCast has been around since the 2021 NFL season after ESPN announced it in July 2021. It was introduced as an alternative broadcast to "Monday Night Football," where the Mannings could offer unique insight from their long football careers.

Over time, the broadcast has involved more entertainment aspects during the game and brought in guests inside and outside the football world to chat.

While the primary focus is still on Peyton and Eli Manning providing football expertise and breaking down plays as they happen, there's a mix of fun involved as well, intertwining interviews and pop culture.

Monday Night Football schedule 2024

  • TV channel: ESPN, ESPN2, ABC (Weeks 3, 4, and 15)
  • Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Live stream: ESPN+, Fubo

As usual, ESPN's "Monday Night Football" matchups will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET each week. There are weeks with multiple Monday night games, including Weeks 3, 4, 7 and 15.

In Weeks 3, 4 and 15, the second MNF broadcasts will air on ABC, with the other still on ESPN. However, in Week 7, Chargers vs. Cardinals is planned to only allow streaming options. Those streaming options include ESPN+ and Fubo

The ManningCast recently dropped its schedule for the 11 Monday night games it will broadcast for on ESPN2. With its schedule release, the show dropped a 10-minute musical that included the Manning brothers and some guest stars. Even some current NFL coaches got in on the fun.
