The Madden NFL 25 cover athlete will be revealed on Tuesday as the game prepares for an August 16th release. Though it is extremely unlikely that a Las Vegas Raiders player has been selected for the cover, two players on the Silver and Black's roster are good enough to grace the cover of the iconic video game: Edge Maxx Crosby and wide receiver Davante Adams.
Over the last three seasons, Maxx Crosby has established himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL. The 26-year-old has the most pressures in the league since 2021 with 276 and has totaled 35 sacks in that span as well. Crosby's swagger and tenacious playstyle have made him a fan favorite in Las Vegas, and he would be a tremendous selection for the Madden NFL 25 cover. A defensive player hasn't been selected for the Madden cover since Richard Sherman on Madden NFL 25.
Davante Adams has been one of the NFL's most consistent wide receivers of the past decade. The six-time pro bowler has posted over 100 catches and 1,000 yards in four consecutive seasons and has still been elite in a Las Vegas offense that has lacked competent quarterback play since his arrival. Adam's popularity amongst fans and players, paired with his hall-of-fame play, would make him an ideal candidate for the Madden NFL 25 cover. A wide receiver hasn't graced the cover of Madden since Antonio Brown on Madden NFL 19.
