As Madden NFL 25 released its ratings for running backs and defensive linemen (tackles and ends) on Tuesday, one very key member of the Tennessee Titans was missing on the list: Jeffery Simmons.
And we're not talking about the list of the top-10 players at his position, either. Big Jeff, who is usually listed as a defensive end in the game, was completely left off the official Madden NFL 25 ratings website as of this writing.
First, we sorted by just Titans players, and then all Titans defensive tackles and ends, and then by all defensive ends and tackles in the game regardless of team. Those approaches all yielded nothing. Then, we did a search by name, even including different variations in case of a typo, and still nothing.
The website did list Sebastian Joseph-Day, T'Vondre Sweat, Marlon Davidson, Keondre Coburn and Quinton Bohanna, but no Simmons.
So, we scoured X to see if anyone else had noticed, and sure enough our good buddy Dharya Sharma saw the same issue. Here's the screenshot he took, and it matches what our search looked like.
EA SPORTS completely forgot to release Jeffery Simmons’ Madden Rating 🤣 #Titans #TitanUp pic.twitter.com/g1rkX6rhNt

The only other explanation other than they simply forgot about him is they have him at a different position, like outside linebacker, which would be foolish.
Simmons had a rough day at practice on Tuesday, as not only did he get into multiple fights, according to beat writers on the ground, he also gave AtoZ Sports' Buck Reising the business after seeing one of his tweets following the fights.
Maybe that's why Simmons was so mad today?
All jokes aside, it's completely inexcusable to see Madden NFL 25 seemingly forget about one of the best defensive linemen in the sport. But we shouldn't be surprised after how routinely overlooked the Titans always are.
