Featuring several of the highest-rated corners and safeties, the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and New York Giants have the best defensive backfields in the league, according to "Madden NFL 18."

Seattle's "Legion of Boom" rates out as the top secondary in the NFL with the two highest-rated safeties and the fifth-best corner. Kam Chancellor is the best safety in the league at 95 Overall and touts the highest Hit Power rating of 97. With a 94 Overall, Earl Thomas ties Eric Berry as the top-rated free safety and has a 93 Zone Coverage rating. Coming in at 90 Overall, Richard Sherman leads the league with a Press Coverage rating of 98.

The Broncos don't just have the best corner duo in the NFL, but the best two corners period. Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib are tied for the top rating at the position. They are especially effective in a man coverage scheme, leading the league with 97 and 96 in the Man Coverage rating, respectively. Both of Denver's safeties fall in the middle of the pack at their positions.

With both a formidable defensive line and an impressive secondary, the Giants have one of the most imposing defenses in "Madden NFL 18." Landon Collins (92 Overall), Janoris Jenkins (89 Overall) and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (89 Overall) trail only Seattle for top-rated trio in the league.

EA Sports recently released the first gameplay trailer for "Madden NFL 18," which includes a quick look at new features like Target Passing, Play Styles, and WR/DB Interactions.

"Madden NFL 18" also introduces the series' first ever story mode, featuring actors that include Mahershala Ali and Scott Porter, plus appearances from licensed colleges Texas and Oregon.

The game will release Aug. 22 for those who buy the $80 "G.O.A.T" edition, and Aug. 25 for the standard edition. Those with an EA Access subscription on Xbox One will be able to start playing a 10-hour trial of the game Aug. 17.
