Madden NFL 16 adds Derrick Henry, Myles Jack, others to first-rounders in game image

The tradition that involves adding some of the players set to enter the league to the Madden series following the draft, rather than having to wait until the next edition of the video game, continued this year with Madden NFL 16. On draft night, all 31 first-round selections were introduced into the game's popular Ultimate Team mode

Now though publisher EA Sports has gone beyond just those top picks by placing even more incoming rookies into Ultimate Team. Available through either card packs or purchases directly through the Auction House, 33 more have entered the pool of players. Most come from the second round but several are from the third and the last few from the fourth.

MORE: Madden NFL 17 game winners, losers

As was the case with the first rounders, there are two versions of cards for each rookie. The "Gold" is lower rated and more in line with how they'll be rated as rookies (high 70s/low 80s) though slightly inflated so as to make them relevant. The "Elite" is based on how they might be rated in the future if they were to have great success in the league (high 80s/low 90s).
