Terrell Owens had to wait a few years to get the call from Canton. Now, the NFL wide receiver who played from 1996-2010 not only will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer, but he will be featured on the cover of the Hall of Fame Edition of the upcoming "Madden NFL 19."
In the sports video game world, Owens is remembered for his appearance on the cover of "NFL 2K5," which was the last edition of the series that was shut down after EA Sports secured an exclusive license with the NFL in 2004. Owens also was featured on the cover of the 2003 game "NFL Blitz Pro."
