LSU players drafted 2024: Full list of NFL Draft picks from Tigers, including Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers image

The 2023 LSU team was all speed and no brakes.

The Tigers were among college football's most explosive offenses in the country. It all centered around the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels. The dynamic star threw 40 touchdowns, rushed for 10 more and combined for nearly 5,000 total yards.

And Daniels was far from the only dynamic star on the team. Malik Nabers was second in the nation in receiving yards with 1,569. Teammate Brian Thomas Jr. led the country in receiving touchdowns with 17 and also posted more than 1,000 receiving yards.

The offense led the country in points per game (45.5). The defense, well, let's just say there's a reason the Tigers lost three games in 2023.

The Tigers are now about to see plenty of those talented players head to the NFL. Dating back to the 2020 NFL Draft, only Georgia (41) has had more than the Tigers' 37 total draft picks.

How many Tigers have been or will be drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft? Here's what you need to know.

LSU players drafted in 2024 NFL Draft

Here's a look at the LSU players that have been drafted so far in 2024:

  • Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders (No. 2 overall)
  • Malik Nabers, WR, New York Giants (No. 6 overall)
  • Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 23 overall)
  • Maason Smith, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 48)
  • Jordan Jefferson, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 116)
  • Mekhi Wingo, DT, Detroit Lions (No. 189)

The Commanders had been widely mocked to pick Daniels, and they wound up doing exactly that. The Giants needed a wide receiver, and ultimately selected Nabers to become the top weapon for Daniel Jones. The Jaguars traded back with the Vikings, and ultimately used the selection to give Trevor Lawrence another weapon after losing Calvin Ridley to free agency.

Jacksonville also added Maason Smith in the second round to keep LSU teammates together. And as if the Jags didn't already have enough former Tigers, they added one more by getting Smith's teammate at DT, Jordan Jefferson, in the fourth round. A third Tiger defensive tackle was picked as Mekhi Wingo was drafted by the Lions in the fourth round.

LSU players to win Rookie of the Year

Few teams have matched the track record of sending wide receiver talents to the NFL in recent years.

The Tigers have had a pair of Offensive Rookie of the Year winners, with Odell Beckham Jr. winning it in 2014 and Ja'Marr Chase earning the award in 2021. In 2020, Justin Jefferson finished second to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
