The Los Angeles Rams have been pretty tight-lipped about their plans for the 2024 NFL Draft. The team has only spoken with a handful of prospects (at least publicly reported) and haven't been frequently hosting prospects on visits.
So Wednesday morning's news was a rather overt move and a deviation from their normally buttoned-up approach. According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, the Rams are flying to Penn State on Wednesday for a private visit with Robinson.
Sources: The #Rams are flying to Happy Valley today for a private visit with Penn State pass rusher and projected 1st-rounder Chop Robinson.

It's not totally clear just who is part of that entourage, but it obviously will hold some of the Rams' key personnel brass and decision-makers.
Robinson is an explosive pass rusher, but one who is far from complete. Teams who draft him will be banking on his upside and athleticism. This has been a pretty common pattern with the Rams' draft plans for the defensive side of the ball, as they buy into their coaching staff's ability to maximize their players.
I've already mentioned Chop Robinson as a scheme fit for the Rams' defense. The 19th overall pick is a tad rich for Chop's current floor, but his ceiling is truly tremendous.
