Like many in Missouri, the River City Rascals minor league team is disappointed with the recent news of the Rams’ move back to Los Angeles.

But instead of filing a lawsuit like a handful of St. Louis fans, the independent baseball organization located in nearby O’Fallon is offering fans an opportunity to cash in on their St. Louis Rams gear.

“St. Louis Rams fans are invited to bring a Rams jersey and/or T-shirt to T.R. Hughes Ballpark and exchange it for a River City Rascals T-shirt and two tickets to a 2016 Rascals home game! All Rams fans making the exchange will be entered to win two free season tickets for the upcoming Rascals season,” the team said in a press release.

"The Rascals will partner with local charities to help supply people in need with the exchanged Rams apparel.”

It's good to see something positive is coming out of the Rams exodus. And don't worry, St. Louis fans, the Rascals lease at T.R. Hughes Ballpark runs through the 2022 season.
