Who says it's too early to look ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft for the Los Angeles Rams? These way-too-early mock drafts, in my opinion, are great tools to establish names to know and serve as good tools to identify team needs for the future.
I have already taken a look at several 2025 mock drafts already and some pretty clear trends have emerged for the Rams. Mainly, mocks seem centered on a LT, DT, or QB, all of which are long-term areas of need for the team.
I will take my own spin at a mock draft for the Rams, using Pro Football Focus's mock draft simulator.
Note: PFF's simulator only covers the first three rounds, so that is all I will be focusing on.
Los Angeles Rams 2025 mock draft
Round 1, Pick 15: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
PFF gave me an F for this pick, which is hilarious because Josh Conerly is a stud. He mans the left tackle spot for the Ducks and allowed just one sack in 2024. He has the athleticism to fit in any scheme and would instantly give the Rams their long-term left tackle fit.
Conerly has some room to grow fundamentally, but the sky is the limit. Both Alaric Jackson and Joe Noteboom are free agents after the 2024 season, leaving the left tackle spot wide open.
Round 3, Pick 79: Alfred Collins, DL, Texas
Gimme the beef up the middle. After building most of their defensive line out of smaller players for 2024, the Rams stack a 6'5 307 pound player who has the length to play in their base formations as a 4i and rotate inside as a 1T in their sub-packages to give them some size and power inside.
Round 3, Pick 100: Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas
The Rams didn't add a corner in the 2024 draft, but with Tre'Davious White on a one-year deal and some depth to establish, they opt to take one here.
Cobee Bryant is a talented ballhawk on the perimeter. While he is on the lighter side at 6'0, 175 pounds, he's not afraid to fit against the run and competes through every rep.
