The Detroit Lions had quite the eventful week leading up to their preseason game against the New York Giants, which comes on Thursday night in East Rutherford.
Not only did the two teams take part in joint practices this week, but the sessions were filled with a ton of fights, with Monday's being particularly wild, with as many as eight fights breaking out.
Things were heated to say the least once again on Tuesday, with the fight fest kicking off with a brawl between Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers and Lions safety Kerby Joseph.
The two players threw hands after rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold won a rep versus Nabers. It isn't clear if he said anything, but Joseph got mushed by Nabers on his way back to the huddle, which led to them throwing hands.

Arnold touched on the Nabers-Joseph fight, and all of the other brawls that took place during his latest iteration of "Rookie Chronicles" that he does on social media.
"Practice was wild today, I can't even lie" Arnold said on Tuesday. "Me and Malik, good work, we've always been going at it, man, that's my brother. Y'all seen the videos and stuff, it speaks for itself. Just a competitive environment, two teams going at it. Nothing really to say about it, just fierce competition."
Arnold had a scary moment on Monday, as the rookie took a huge blow from Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas on a run play. However, Arnold showed legendary toughness by staying on his feet despite the massive hit.

Thankfully, Arnold was able to clear the concussion protocol and get back on the practice field the next day. He spoke about that during his video, also.
"I know y'all seen the lineman, he tried to take me out like yesterday, but I'm a soldier, you feel me? 10 toes!" Arnold said. "Sub Zero really getting in his prime form. But, I don't know what I was thinking when I tried to take him. He's 200 pounds bigger than me, but I really didn't care, though. All I see is red when I be on the field, that's just my mindset. They said I was in concussion protocol. Nah, nah, man, you know, passed that."

Arnold went on to say that the biggest issue he had after his run-in with Thomas was his quad, which he was in the midst of getting treatment for in the video.
It's good to see Arnold doing well after the physical practices with the Giants, and we hope he keeps the "Rookie Chronicles" coming. The rookie will now turn his attention to preseason Week 1 against the Giants.
