Somehow, the topic of swag camp up at Detroit Lions training camp on Friday, and linebacker Jack Campbell was caught in the middle of it, as were some of his teammates.
Campbell was asked who has the most and least swag on the team in 2024. For the least swag, the second-year linebacker out of Iowa nominated himself.
"If you’re talking about swag, you’re not looking at me, because I’m literally the lowest swag on the team," Campbell said, per Justin Rogers of the Detroit Football Network.
When asked about who has the most swag, Campbell gave the title to wide receiver Jameson Williams, who he praised for his clothes and shoes.
"Just cuz I see him wear a bunch of cool stuff that I can never wear cuz I would look terrible in it, Jamo," he said, according to Will Burchfield of 97.1 The Ticket. "Jamo's got a lot of cool shoes. Everyone's got cool cars and everything. I don't got that."
"I got me that 2015 Dodge Ram. Gets the job done," Campbell added.
Quarterback Jared Goff touched on the subject, also, and had a different answer for who has the most swag on offense. Safe to say, his response didn't disappoint.
“Probably Frank (Ragnow),” Goff revealed. “Or Graham (Glasgow). The camo, the Birkenstocks. Those guys bring it every day.”
While Campbell might be lacking in the swag department, the team as a whole is not ahead of a season in which the Lions are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL once again.
