When NFL players are on the month-plus break ahead of training camp, it's a good time to get things done that they've put off, and that's exactly what Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs did recently.
On Tuesday morning, Gibbs got his wisdom teeth removed, a procedure that is no walk in the park. On his way home from it, Gibbs decided to go on Instagram Live and stream his ride home.
Gibbs clearly had trouble talking, which is understandable given the procedure he just had done. But we did get a lip-syncing musical performance from the Lions running back while Usher and others were blasting in the background.
Check out the full clip of Gibbs post-surgery performance below.

It's typically not a good idea to go live to that many followers (he has over 263,000 on Instagram) coming off anesthesia, but Gibbs handled himself well there.
Gibbs is coming off a standout rookie season that saw him tally over 1,300 yards from scrimmage in 2023, including 945 on the ground. He's been absent for spring practices with a soft-tissue injury, according to head coach Dan Campbell, but is expected to be ready for training camp late next month.
