Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams had issues keeping his breakfast down during the first day of training camp on Wednesday, something head coach Dan Campbell addressed with the media on Thursday morning.
Williams was spotted early on in practice throwing up multiple times, and he even let one loose after reeling in a touchdown grab on one rep. However, that didn't stop him from being one of the team's biggest standouts on Day 1.
When asked about Williams throwing up, Campbell had exactly the answer you'd expect him to have.
"As long as he keeps making those plays, he can throw up all he wants," Campbell said, per Justin Rogers of Detroit Football Network.
One of the plays Campbell is talking about was this long touchdown catch by the Alabama product, who beat a pair of defensive backs for what many beat writers called the play of the day.

Williams has had two lackluster seasons to start his career, but he also had to work his way back from a serious injury in 2022 and didn't have a normal start to the 2023 season because of a gambling suspension.
The Lions need him to step up big time in 2024, especially after the departure of Josh Reynolds to the Denver Broncos. So far, Williams looks poised to do just that.
