Despite the animosity that appears to exist between Bills running back LeSean McCoy and new 49ers head coach Chip Kelly, McCoy found it in himself to share a few kind thoughts about his former coach Tuesday.
"The one thing I will say about Chip is that he wants to win. He's very, very intelligent,” McCoy told NFL Network. “The offense, they'll find ways to get the big numbers. They'll find ways to put the stats up offensively.”

McCoy posted more than 3,600 total yards in two seasons under Kelly with the Eagles — the best two seasons of his seven-year career. Now he’s advising 49ers players to quickly move past Kelly’s quirky tactics and “buy in.”
“With him coming in there, no matter how good of a player or low player you are, if you just automatically believe him — no matter if it sounds crazy, you're like, 'What is he talking about?' — if you just automatically believe and buy in, I think you'll be fine,” McCoy said.
McCoy has done a 180-degree turn from disgruntled player traded out of Philly last offseason who implied Kelly was racist and later refused to shake Kelly's hand when the Bills traveled to play the Eagles.
